truCarbon specializes in carbon fiber interior trims for BMW enthusiasts. Our services involve removing the existing interior trim pieces and wrapping them in a carbon fiber fabric. We are located in South Florida and receive on average four new sales orders per day. Our business is generated through BMW dealerships and is coordinated by Hans Gruber, our onsite salesperson. Each order contains seven pieces of interior trim and are shipped using UPS ground. Orders generally arrive five days after payment is confirmed.
New Requirements:
Currently, our sales department wastes several hours manually distributing new service requests to other departments. This requires full time monitoring and coordination to ensure each department is notified of a new fabrication order. We would like a web application system developed to automate the manual distribution and notification process. Each of our five employee requires the ability to logon. Four employees require a list of orders waiting in their queue with the option to select either an incomplete or completed status button. A fifth employee, from our Sales division, requires the ability to login and check on the status of the order and its current location in the lifecycle process.
